source Generic V8 muscle car exhaust note — the acoustic signature of American V8 engines (Chevrolet 350, Ford 5.0, Dodge 392 HEMI). V8s dominated muscle car culture from the 1960s–1970s and remain the sonic symbol of American horsepower. Use case: ironic choice for an EV owner who misses the rumble. Trivia: a V8's distinctive "burble" comes from the firing interval — with two cylinders firing on the same side, the exhaust pulses produce the signature cross-plane V8 sound.
