source Commercial aviation cabin notification systems. The two-tone chime signals boarding, seatbelt sign changes, or PA announcements on Boeing and Airbus aircraft. Different airlines use slightly different tones. Use case: your Tesla is ready for departure — passengers, please stow your carry-ons. Trivia: the specific chime pitch was chosen to be audible over aircraft engine noise without causing passenger alarm.
