The two-note "ta-dum" was developed on the direction of Netflix VP of Product Innovation Todd Yellin. Use case: locks your car like the opening of a prestige drama. Trivia: Bender created the sound using the bass note of a cello hit and processed it digitally — the entire creation took just a few hours.
