source "I Got You (I Feel Good)" by James Brown, recorded 1965, released on King Records. The opening bark "I feel good!" followed by the horn section became one of soul music's most recognizable openings. Use case: every departure is a triumph. Transcript: "I feel good!" Trivia: The song was actually written by Brown in 1960 as "I Feel Good (I Got You)" for Yvonne Fair — Brown later re-recorded it himself and it became one of his signature songs, charting at #3 R&B in 1965.
